Two very bizarre things this chapter

1. The (ex) boyfriend just called the girl saying: "Hey so I got a new girlfriend so I can't make it" even if he hated her guts that's a weird way of breaking up

2.when Maki called his father a stranger, the father didn't even try to correct him or console him, he's still his father and Maki is still a minor and his responsability

1. Personally, I thought the "buy dinner and I'll pay for it when I get there" was the over-the-top part… but regardless, a jerk 🍑 .

2. I gather that in Japan, being part of someone's family register (or not) is serious business. Not that it's right, just that it's a thing.

I meant to say this much earlier, but better late than never: Thank you, to everyone who was considerate and obscured spoilers so that we had a choice to not read them. 😌

at least rooted in more realistic issues because Maki doesnt even understand exactly what are his problems, and like a classic japanese person he thinks that if he ignores and move on things will improve :D
TBH that's most of us guys in general.

...
He didn't hate her guts. Hate would mean that he had feelings for her. He just didn't give a shit. He was probably just using her until someone he liked came along.

The saying is that the opposite of love isn't hate but indifference.

Or worse, he was using her to make someone he liked jealous.

Dear WN/LN reader,

I want to continue reading this on WN/LN.
Which chapter or volume should I start from the latest manga chapter ?

Thanks in advance.

Maki came off extremely childish and petty here. Even if he was angry at his father, including his classmate in his family drama? Seriously? Like that's just straight up pathetic, just let him pay for her and handle that later.

It's actually occurred a lot in real life that a couple doesn't have emotional support anymore after years of wedding even without an act of cheating. His dad chose to give up on that ties which is his dad fault of course. Maki's reaction is normal even with the fact his dad want to support him as his biological dad. As a child in his family, maki just want a normal dad and normal family

His mother should get a new father for him so his biological can go live with regret or just moving on
well, she love him. and still so. that the only problem
