Two things:
1) MC is a weakling and that is pathetic. I hope it has some self improvement, like joining a sports club or going to the gym, otherwise it will be trash.
2) it is the first time I see a manga actually addressing the problems of divorce. I should be satisfied with that but it would be amazing if he actually came up with a way to make his parents reconcile.

That said, my parents are not divorced so I don't really understand the mindset of people involved in this kind of drama. I just find it extremely unpleasant and it would be more heartwarming to them fixing it, which you almost never see in media.
Personaly, if my parents ever divorced I would talk to neither of them. They always taught me to not trust in people who break vows, so that would apply to them too.

I think it's pretty well done, feels like there's a genuine relationship and they're not cucking the reader with hand holding for 40+ chapters. Maki is also pretty relatable in a good notion. I really resonated with the family issues. 8/10 and a good read.

I did not expect this manga to hit on a personal issue for me but the mc's feelings about his parents' divorce brought me to tears. His relationship with the fl is also very cute, I like that they actually start as friends and their romance develops very naturally.

It's kinda crazy but the majority of marriages in literally every country end in divorce, it's incredibly sad and this made me realize my parents divorce also destroyed me for pretty much my entire adolescence. I don't want to be a jerk so I don't blame them after all it's my fault for having feelings and being really bad at managing them (😭) but it's such a horrible thing about modern society in my honest opinion.

This manga has a lot of ups and downs. The MC is a bit weak-willed but it's forgivable considering his parents are divorced and it clearly affects him. The author tries their best to maintain characters' personalities but it's a bit inconsistent.

reason i personally gave it a high score is because it was relatable. the loneliness and the sadness for the parents. cant relate to having the girlfriend though lmao but the emotions he went through was very well depicted in the manga

Solid 8/10 maybe 9/10, family and friendship problems gives it dome depth, art is really good and the story flows natuarally, also no over the top manga 'akwardness'

Finally the confession! I hope this manga doesn't just die as soon as they get together, I hate when that happens...

It always happens. All good mangas like this end 1 or 2 chapters after confession.

Lemme see them and their relationship grow! I don't care if it's a time skip or sht, i want to them in the future. Maybe even as adults, be it with or without kids. Even if it's only few chapters worth.

Ending it with "i love you, here is a small kiss, now towards happy future!" is such an ass trope.....

Nah there are a few that continue after the relationship, The dangers in my heart, The girl I like forgot her glasses, and My love story with Yamada-kun at lv999, these all are great romance manga that continue after the confession.

I thought they were de facto dating when they were already holding hands and stuff way before the confession... I hope this continues after they start dating though, it's a wholesome series with a great artstyle, after all.
