I'd say he is already. Umi is a really awesome girl. I'd almost call him "blessed" because I think his relationship (both social and romantic aspects) with her has had a major positive influence on him overall, I'd say. Of course, the developments are still unfolding but I think that her presence is changing his life already, in ways of varying magnitude.

Her being cute is bonus, I agree. Though, she already looks like her mom, so I don't think he needs to wait for adulthood to be "lucky" (not that I get that whole "having a relationship with someone super beautiful" being considered a "luck" thing).
