Pretty much. It's much easier to clean while it's not too dirty and it only takes a couple of minutes, rather than rarely and it's a whole project. And you never pull the plug on someone's gaming progress. Only power outages are allowed to do that.

That's grounds for instant divorce. If hell freezes over and I decided to become a politian, the first bill I'll introduce is if any spouse has their plug pulled....they would be allowed to (If married) Divorce their partner and gain alimony or (if not married), Sue their partner for physical and emotional damage and (in both cases) Press charges against them.
