I forget if there’s a LN or anything but I feel like we still have another 20-30 chapters. We need to tie up good for all the losing heroines + that new dude just got introduced so he’ll have something + Saito needs to realize who Akane actually is and that will probably lead to a deeper connection between them. Then another date chapter(s) and some other miscellaneous stuff

I doubt Saito ever took the steps to be emancipated from his shit parents, and Gramps didn't think to bother either.

I would bet Gramps is the actual owner of their house, but maybe Gramps fucked up and made Saito the owner a year too soon.

Edit: Akane managed to have a positive interaction with Saito without hideously sabotaging it, so I guess she's going to fuck something up next chapter to make up for it.

I think you missed the point. She's not doing it for the money, she's doing everything she can to split Akane and Saito so that Shisei can be with him eventually. EVERYTHING is for her. In the past, sure. She wanted the group under her control. But Tennryu is currently the one pushing for Akane and Saito, so getting him out of the way helps with that as well.
