Wait wait, calm down you horny newlyweds. I know your government will be happy if you have many child. But please do it in moderation.

Well? Get to it. What are you waiting for? You don't want them to be alone without a sibling do you?
Whatever they do,just don't have four of them, and especially not six of them.

It's a baby girl! Welcome to the world, Mana Aizawa. Now the circle of life starts over. If she really takes after her mother like Nana says, in ~16 years she'll be going on the traditional hunt for a boy who's just like her dad and granddad.

On a side note, Nana's answer to her friends wanting to see a second kid will make a certain japanese politician smile from beyond the grave.

I hope they'll actually space the births for her health's sake, unless they're seriously planning for a baseball team in which case they probably don't have time to waste...

If I remember correctly this one was due right after graduation, so in April. If they get busy again immediately then it is conceivable :) that she could have the sibling by March. They would actually be in the same year for the school career with the first one of the oldest and the second one of the youngest in the year.

Three. Three is the minimum for replacement.

Remember how the "replacement rate" is 2.1? Well, that's just the death replacement rate. But if we're talking about maintaining a population, we need the marriage and children replacement rate.

In order to replace the population using 2.1 as a goal, every woman has to have two kids (and every tenth woman must have three). That's not going to happen. We've stopped stigmatizing lesbians and gay men into hetero marriage—that's fine, but we also have #childfree and like movements pushing anti-natalist policies, life-long NEETs, and some marriages will end after one kid. And some single women have one kid, single mother it, and then never have another. (Exceptions exist, of course: I read about one living British feminist who had three kids, all from different dads, and never married or cohabited.)

Even considering the lower death replacement rate, if you have two kids, you're waiting for someone else to have a third. So, if Ryuuji and Nana want to help repopulate Japan, three kids is the golden number.

As for spacing them out: my parents had two kids two years apart, and then one more after five-and-a-half years. (To the day: my sister's birthday is on my half-birthday.) I'm not sure it had any effect on how well we got along.

For someone who disliked me making a joke about the Third Reichs' soldier making policies,it makes sense you'd say this but not point out why Japan specifically has a crisis.

Not once, not even under Abe,did they address the high cost of living in Japan, where it becomes nigh impossible to have more kids without some serious income, which can lead to workolicism, which leads to kids experiencing a severe lack in parental guidance.

And that's not even mentioning the stresses that build into an outburst.

If there have been steps, then they see the truth.

Solve the cost of living and you solve Japans' low birth rate.

Japan has a high cost of living due to stupid economic policies.

And I downvoted your f--king post because of all the groups to post advocating pro-natalist policies, why would you post the f--king Nazis? When I want to advocate keeping rural areas rural, I advocate making cities more dense and livable, such as destroying Government monopoly schools, I don't start linking to Pol f--king Pot.

You do realise that my initial comment is a joke in response to two other jokes, right?

To not have X number of children because the Third Reich did it purely for getting more brainwashable military manpower, that was literally the whole punchline,at what point was I advocating anything?

And why the bloody Hell are you advocating for that in the comment section of a piracy site for comics, specifically the comment section for a comic that has teen pregnancy?
