The author needs to give Rino a legitimately powerful rival or adversary, otherwise the only dramatic tension will involve the author coming up with new ways for her to abuse her victims, and that will get old before long.

idk about a rival unless rumi and rino start beefing over him (seems improbable)
the mostly generic (and probably likely) development will be rino mellows out somewhat for the MC, possibly due to some event, and there's some kinda romance between them eventually (i know she still had 0 romantic feelings in the commentary after ch 12 but yk), kinda like nagatoro going from straight up femdom bullying to much lighter romantic teasing

Maybe it's just me but I feel like the blonde girl is just kinda trash and don't want her to become the "female toy" of the story. I mean, the MC is kinda trash too but he's my self-insert.

That plus Rumi suddenly developing an interest makes me feel like the story is being deliberately expanded. Hmm. That didn't work out that well for "The Story of a Manga Artist Confined by a Strange High School Girl".
