My guess on why mhf erases cleavages is maybe some of the team lives somewhere like Malaysia or Indonesia, where manga and animu is censored. Do they go to jail for distributing corrupt imagery if they upload with cleavage and butt cracks? 🤔

Their reason is bullshit or stupidity. It's not nudity or sexual content but just some cleavage that is making them get a DMCA? Yeah, no. And even if that was true, just go freaking find another webhost like the ones MANY other translation groups use that does allow their content.
Nah, the truth is they themselves don't like it so they butcher the art and make false claims of DMCA.

The ads thing is also bullshit because I've seen other websites with those intrusive ads that did not feature porn on manga with a LOT more fanservice than some natural cleavage (mostly just fucking products that have nothing to do with the contents of the manga).

uhh no, shamefully. we indonesian is one of the highest pron consumer even just browsing random facebook pages i could easily found 2-3 group that share pron link or draw hentai. the only moment authority taken action is when someone produce pron videos and sells them without giving taxes to the government

yup, I hate it. The worst part is that they've been doing more and more of the manga i read (fantasy and isekai garbage).
I also never saw the exact message, this is just something someone else said they said, so who knows. There's literally no good reason for it anyways
