Redrawing Tonari Keru-sensei's drawing is really time-consuming also.

So many Japanese series push the duty to pursue professional success at all costs, usually in the form of a ten year time skip of her career as an idol and they inexplicably wait that whole time for each other.

Really glad this bucked that trend and she chose her personal happiness over what she "should" do.

Sounds like scheduling conflicts made the call to end the series one volume short. A bummer, but a more natural ending than most adaptations.

I kind of wish the manga could adapt V4 of the LN. After V4, I would be fine with the manga ending then, as V5 and beyond of the WN kind of start dragging on with slice-of-life stuff.

A question I would still have at this point is: "Objectively speaking, in-universe, did Shion make the correct decision in the end?"
We know how Takuya first saw her when they first met, but what happened to get her into that situation? The end of V4 gives the rest of her backstory, which helps answer that.
