I can guess that the goddess summoned everyone except the actual hero intended to save the world, and for whatever reason, maybe low mana or some shit, she cannot resummon him again.

So I bet she is the one in charge of the people trying to catch the protag.

I cross checked it just now. You're right. This's the same series as that one based on the same novel adaptation. This manga might be a reboot because the raw is newly released.

I apparently have this in my dropped section (though I don't remember it), so outside of me not wanting to read a "school life" series, hopefully this is good.

Honestly, this has a much better hook, art style, and better writing than the original.

The protag was so negative that it kinda took the fun out of it; I like him being kinda neutral and having a more realistic take.

It's neat.
