Nell is a quite bit on the retarded side, she is barely able to make a decision for herself, there is no way she can make one on behalf of her children, especially when it comes to such a moral dilemma. As I said that is still Nell's right, even no choice is a choice and she will take responsible for her choice, good or bad. I think we both lack arguments to continue because we're getting into the "what if" and "we don't know" territory. I agree that freedom of choice is a great thing, I also insist that none of the women are mentally healthy. What we do know is that Nell is a walking example of what happens to children born in captivity. If I were to blame the women for anything, it would be for not informing Nell, I agree. I feel like something is missing as to why they lied to her.
