I liked this chapter, because we got to learn a bit more about Ikezaki outside of her ridiculous aspects. She is human, after all (probably), and has her own struggles. We also got to see a different side of Sameda; he's not just a hilariously unlucky guy anymore.

I also love how, immediately after, we get hit with this panel.

It's just so peak.

animanga fans have a pretty high chance of being exactly those you described at the end there unfortunately. Despite the inevitable romcom plot that will drag to the heat death of the universe, I do hope that the author can flesh out the characters beyond just their haha quirky archetypes.

I only don’t really like ikezaki, she kinda annoying ngl. Red hair is fun in the scary kinda way and I would fold immediately if Tasogare even looked in my direction so 😭
