This Hair Color Idea Deserved a Whole Series
I really liked the concept of the character changing her hair color. I’d love to read several chapters of a story built around that idea. It’s a shame this is so short. That said, I felt the characters were a bit
slow on the uptake — they didn’t seem to catch on to the meaning behind her hair colors very easily.
Personally, I think it would be really interesting to see this concept in a longer story. Maybe the protagonist could be truly introverted, quietly dealing with all those shifting emotions. Or, on the opposite end, she could be super energetic — one of those people who always hides their true feelings behind a cheerful smile. It would be even more engaging if her hair changed to more unpredictable, less obvious colors, making it harder to immediately decode what she’s feeling. That way, the reader could gradually learn what each color means through context.
Also, it would be nice to explore a wider range of emotions beyond just happy/sad/love — making it more complex, nuanced, and colorful. Perhaps even switching the concept from changing hair color to changing eye color could make it subtler, so people around her wouldn’t easily figure out what she’s going through.
