Just a couple of weeks ago I commented on a different manga that it would progress a lot faster if the guy would just blurt out any of his inner thoughts just once. I didn't expect Shibasaki to do so, though I'm glad for it (and it seems very natural and in-character)! He's accidentally created an opportunity for a major development, and I'm dying to know how this continues! In particular, Shibasaki is an honest boy (or at least has been so thus far); now that he's come out and said this, what else will he say (whether on purpose or not), and how will OL-san interpret it all? Character development! Realisations! Two (or at least one and the other mostly) mature and properly communicating persons so hopefully not too many (lasting) misunderstandings! Aaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

As others have commented already, the family is great. The two boys in the bottom left panel on page 3 are just terrific. OL-san/Takuan's card on page 10 is indeed adorable

On the other side, it opens up the way for more sincere relationship, so that might be not bad. I guess in next chapter we'll see how OL'san will once again about how she sees our boy.

Personally, what I loved in this chapter is a clear hierarchy in the Shibasaki family. Mama-san is a Queen, Maya is a bit stupid but criminally adorable little princess, and there are also two BRATS that are still leaving their socks around the house. Going by the direction of Father and Son's gazes, the bigger brat is actually the father.

Especially hilarious how Shibasaki Mom treats both of them like kids when Dad just finished acting out parent with "Kids will always be kids".
