I feel like the pirating community is reaching some kind of critical mass. This pattern of "big site goes down, so everyone goes to alternative site which becomes popular then gets shut down" played out in the anime community as well. Armageddon on the horizon?!?!?!!!??!?!??!?!?!

Eventually it'll go back to decentralised state, until one starts to surpass the others in features and becomes the centre of activity, grows too big, gets the hammer and rinse repeat until the end of time, because the twats doing these take downs will never learn.

I used comick even before DMCA because they had a tag filter function while Mangadex not at that moment. They also have large library and rip official release too.
I still used Mangadex mostly at that times because Mangadex have higher image quality and better comments section (comicks are full of normies and also entitled users who thinks scanlators works 24/7).
After DMCA tho, I mostly migrated to comick.
Now I can just used Mangadex again. My library mostly unaffected and Mangadex also have tag filter function currently and I still can read official release somewhere. Comick is still a huge loss tho.
