Hey, I have an observation based on the translator comments.

So you say a Japanese person speaking to Sakura would typically say, "Does Sakura want to get lunch?" instead of, "Do you want to get lunch?"

One of the problems I have reading manga is that many manga artists can draw people well, but cannot draw distinctively different people very well. So we keep ending up with one blonde girl, one black haired girl, and one redhead girl (white, black, and grey inside the manga). As soon as there are two or more blonde girls, it can become difficult to tell immediately which blonde girl is on the page after a scene change, especially if the character is seen from behind or a distance.

But apparently a Japanese-speaking person wouldn't have this trouble, because in Japanese the characters frequently repeat each other's names instead of using the pronoun "you".

I recently read a manga with 3 blonde girls who could only be distinguished by hairstyle. One had braids, one had short hair, and one had long hair. And then something happened like their hair got wet so I couldn't tell them apart, and I had no clue what was going on with the dialog.

If the translator had adhered to the Japanese style of rarely using second person pronouns, I would probably have immediately known which character was which.

Just a thought.

Severely autistic girl tries to learn social cues from human-eating monster. And it's yuri
That's such an apt description, I'm actually stunned.
No judgement, no ridicule, just 100% accuracy, and off you went.

Anyhow, I'm full of judgement :v but I mainly find it weird how nobody here thought it offputting for the MC to try to befriend an obviously dangerous landmine. I feel like a parent who watches their kid befriending a stabby heroin addict.
