lol i don't know if i'd notice a friend's hair not growing but other than a ponytail or hairclips it'd be easier to say something like "my parents don't let my hair get too long so i trim it once a month" if she wanted to keep short hair lol (tho once i think my friend went from brunette to a darkish red but took like a week to notice)

Rereading this, I can't believe I didn't pick up on it the first time that the main reason Takahashi paid so much attention to body odor is because she is wearing a slowly decaying human skin for camouflage. This manga's sense of humor sometimes...
