I don't think it's bad in a vacuum, but this is a big shakeup when the series is about to end. It kind of makes you wonder how the author is gonna land this plane and resolve the big poly mess. The entire staff of this cafe are just inevitably bound to become an extremely unhealthy polycule, huh.
Really confused by the negative reaction, this chapter was hilarious.
I mean, this series has always been primarily a wacky character comedy, plus knowing it was cancelled, so I was never really expecting any kind of satisfying conclusion to the romantic subplots or serious relationship development. To me the series has mostly read like the complex intra-cafe relationship web is usually just there to be the foundation of jokes, not the other way around.I don't think it's bad in a vacuum, but this is a big shakeup when the series is about to end. It's kind of baffling that almost no one in this thread seems to realize that it's exactly because this series is about to end (prematurely as it was axed) that things are getting this hectic. The mangaka is obviously condensing a lot of planned chapters into one because she just didn't get the chance to actually take her time.I don't think it's bad in a vacuum, but this is a big shakeup when the series is about to end.
