Consistency between comments page and comments thread

Currently if there are more than X comments in a thread, you get an option to read older comments. In my opinion there are currently 2 issues with it:
* Button text can be somewhat misleading. I thought that it'd load more comments to read (sorta like endless scrolling), but it actually redirected me to a thread.
* Comment in page are sorted by newest first but in a thread it is sorted by oldest first.

Here a my suggestions on how to solve these issues:
* Suggestion for the first issue is to either rename button to something like "Open comments thread" (easy mode) or implement functionality to load X additional comments if available (hard mode).
* Suggestions for issue number 2 are (1) introduce a setting that allows you to specify how you want comments displayed: newest or oldest first or (2) make oldest first by default.
* Or, you know, just nuke comments page and open thread instead.

Reasoning here to make oldest first by default is because it doesn't ruin the flow of comments. For example, I read all comments as they're posted and when I reach the end of the page I have 2 choices: to load more comments or read comments in a thread. If there is a serious discussion in comment thread, then sorting comments by newest first is already flawed because you can't really join the discussion unless you read previous posts. Any combination of solutions to the problems will lead to a much better experience while reading comments.

I would prefer it to be only 'Comment page' but with addition number paging to go through older comments.
Like the old Batoto way for example .

That whole redirection away from the manga chapter can get pretty annoying.

My solution was just not to read further than the first page of comments lol, but it would be nice if the second part of your first proposed solution were implemented.
