I think it's funny how BY THE CREATOR OF BLEACH is so big. Come on, by the creator of Beelzebub is good praise as well. It's been a while and it got the standard (ie bad, rushed, axed) Jump ending, but I still remember the rest pretty fondly

Ryuhei Tamura, the creator of Beelzebub, also created COSMOS, the series you just commented on

Yeah that's what I'm saying. The CREATOR OF BLEACH text was so much more eyecatching than the Creator of Beelzebub text even though that is who the mangaka of this series is. I think being the creator of Beelzebub is worthy of having more attention

Ah lol sorry, I badly misunderstood that. IMO I think this is fine, Tite Kubo is obviously a big name in Japan, and the magazine wants to promote the series in any way it can to see if it's a hit (it was). The author name is already on the cover, I dont think there's a need to reiterate it in bigger text, and I think Beelzebub by itself isn't enough to pull a lot of readers. Ironically though the success of Vol. 1 probably came from its blow-up on twitter and not the Kubo reccomendation lol

Lol no worries, I don't think I was very clear either

Yeah, tbh it's been a loooooong time since Beelzebub was big. If I'm going to be completely honest, I'd be okay if they didn't even bring up that he made Beelzebub. Again I love Beelzebub, but I really appreciate how non-Shounen Jump this story is so far (I believe that was Hungry Marie's downfall. It would have done better in a different magazine and direction) (I got nothing for the dolphin cop series), and it deserves to stand on its own merit

That being said, I am kind of sad that I looked at his Twitter and there was like zero mention of his older works. Maybe he made a separate Twitter since the handle is cosmos_tamura? But still, a little crossover doodle would be cute
