Cover images not loading only when logged in.

Strange issue on my end, been going on for the last 24hrs or so. iPadOS 18.1 Safari. Here’s a screenshot to illustrate; https://i.postimg.cc/d1TSXTBC/IMG-0020.jpg (iPad mini).
In addition to that, I get similar blank boxes in the “Popular New Titles” carousel thing on top of the main page.

Tried all possible permutations;

• content blocker extensions and DNS filtering on/off
• switched different VPN servers
• switched between regular and private browsing modes
• data saver on/off
• switched site themes

Managed to narrow it down to being signed in. When visiting MD as a guest, everything loads fine. The issue seems to only occur when I’m signed in. I assume it’s cookie related?

Want to clarify that it’s not an issue with MD (afaik) as I don’t experience that problem on Android. I’m assuming it’s something specific to iOS/iPadOS and Safari. I just don’t know what it is or where to troubleshoot. Any assistance, no matter how small, would be appreciated.

@Moodyz Didn't see this before, Could you try clearing cache and see if that helps? Unless you have solved the problem already, To my understanding on iPad you'll also have to clear browsing history along with it, Not sure if there is a third party work around that only deletes the cache and not the browsing history...

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, nothing I’ve tried — deleting browsing history (which clears cache as well) or disabling all browser extensions — has solved this issue and it has persisted across two iPadOS updates since my post.

I don’t want to go as far as completely deleting my Safari extensions or resetting my iPad, so I guess I’ll just live with it. What’s weird is that everything is fine if I’m not logged in MD. Only happens once signed in.

I think I have the exact same issue myself on Safari my Mac from around the same time, While I suspected it was fixed after clearing the cache it did indeed come back when I logged back in as you mentioned, Every time I clear cache and refresh the covers appear but when I refresh again they disappear again, Some covers still appear like the current No. 7 Higawari Shippo no Ozaki-chan and No. 9 Nakimushi to Kokoa no Yuri, Both of which show a version a version of the cover that is below 100KB, Any cover over 100KB does not appear, I have also tried a lot of fixed since my last reply but nothing concrete as of yet...
