Checked this out and was surprised how positive the comments were on the chapter (that it got an update after 2+ years). Decided to read all the chapters up to this and was throughly happy. I like Yandere stories that don’t take themselves too seriously and this was fun. I loved when he snapped in chapter 3, or course it takes a past delinquent badass to handle a yandere. The new girl seems interesting and fun (not into making the mc hers, but enjoys tormenting others lightly). Overall I’m happy the author isn’t focusing as much on other girls actively trying to date the mc (like the childhood friend knew when to back off because he was actually in love); it makes the yandere antics more refreshing.
Also as far as the translation: if I fluently spoke and read Japanese and read the raws, I could probably make a thousand complaints, but then again if I could do that I wouldn’t be here. The translation was fine. It flowed well, made since in context, and got what was going on across. I mean really this is a manga; not an ln or wn. Most of what’s going on, the atmosphere, and tone should come across through the art; the rest is the speech bubbles (and this isn’t an isekai that feels the need to explain long stretches of how it works and world building all at once on a page). You did a great job, brought back a series, and gave me the opportunity to read it. Thanks!
