I don't think that's how you position yourself if you are painting a self-portrait. The end result will probably be you in a leaning position.

Fuck, it's a portal. And now Flora has signed the ritual contract in blood..
Well can we all at least applaud her commitment to the art in continuing to paint despite being imprisoned and sleep-deprived?

@Arexty Ok! I get it. So, it requires a great skill and imagination for the person to perfectly do it.
And I just remembered that she doesn't actually copy the reference object in the first place 😆
Ch 220 for example

I don't think it's fair to criticize her for not sleeping before painting here. She's being held hostage and ordered to paint, or else. I doubt they're going to wait for her to take a nap first.

@Hacete Even wilder is watching someone paint a reverse on glass. Baumgartner Restoration did a video restoring a painting like that recently, and one section of it he set up cameras so you could see both sides at the same time.

I begin to worry the summoning will happen, despite the best efforts of our creepy friends.

@manabi You must be very inspired of Painting Artists to find videos like this.
Thanks for sharing a side of art that I might not have discovered.

@Hacete Not at all, I initially watched some of Baumgartner's restoration videos thanks to YouTube's mysterious recommendation algorithm and quite liked them, so I subscribed. It's really fascinating seeing the things he does to restore old paintings. There's a few he's done that were painted on wood, not canvas or glass, as well.
