I read it all yesterday, wouldnt say it made anything worse, because from this type of stories it wouldnt be a big surprise if any character did have magical powers. Harukaze wasn't that bad, but she was far from being great. I was rooting for tsukiko and from the axed ending one can only hope she was the chosen one, but thats up to the readers imagination i suppose.

I have to disagree. The setting was already wild enough to accommodate a character like Kudoki, but introducing her as the only person with superpowers made it about Kudoki.

The appeal of Criminale was it's big cast of fun characters, and the introduction of magical powers that they didn't have almost completely sidelines them for what's left of the series.

I get the vibe that the author was told that their series wasn't doing well and that they should spice it up somehow. In response, they created this new outrageous mascot character, overhauled the plot, and tried to take the series in a new direction.

Imagine being this dense. She's been hinting at it for ages and this chapter LITERALLY spelled it out for you. And yes, there has been magic in this manga FROM CHAPTER ONE. How does "I attract crime" work? It doesn't, it's a curse.

Harukana's curse is to the point where as a child (note the panel) she was ignored as if she doesn't exist. Obviously the opposite of MC, whether than bringing crime to herself, any crime she does goes unnoticed.

The main character attracts crime, Harukana said she has a similar constiution. No one trying to guess how her constitution works? No one at all? Just gonna ignore that line and then get mad at her??

Can't stand mangadex readers. Forget deductive reasoning, this is just not trying at all...
