Damn, this some fucked up ass shit. I was pretty convinced it was a misdirect, normally in these kinds of isekai reincarnation stories everything pretty much ends up in the protagonist's favor. Sucks to think if she just held out for a little bit longer she would have been rescued. She just kind of decided on her own what would be best for the prince, and she was both wrong about what he would have wanted and her actions ended up having no consequence whatsoever.
