That servant was so stupid you need to suspend disbelief. Human rights are a modern invention. Before, poor people in constant contact with the wealthy were painfully aware that their lives meant nothing to them, that they could get rid of them on a whim and no one would bat an eye.

It's especially jarring since everyone in the family loves Rosalia so her position seems really secure. Forget the surprise stab, all it would take is one word and she'd have lost a safe and great job like an idiot.

Anyway, those ever-advancing save points are going to fuck over Rosalia, she's killing without any planning. She treats Meredy's power like a blank check for consequences, when on the contrary if they see someone dead they want alive (like the mother), that moment will be set in stone.

Here I think she's going to regret wasting most of this day since she remembered her mother's fate

I didn't even think about this. Like, I fully expect Rosalia to be an irredeemable PoS, but it would be genuinely funny and an unexpected twist if she accidentally saved all the right people and prevented disaster for the kingdom with her psychopathy. The wine is one thing but she also might have indirectly saved her brother's life by replacing Bella. If this is Tearmoon Empire, but the MC is insane instead of stupid, we're in for a ride.

I'm like 99% sure that was poison wine. The issue is that she got lucky and immediately attributed her luck to charisma. Scant few make it out without consequences for hubris like that. Add in a healthy dash of being a psycho and I don't think this will end well...

People were calling me fucked-up for defending her Chapter 1 actions, but already by Chapter 2 she's blown past what I'd defend, so it was a pointless arguement.

hmm so this premise works really well?? from memory, the archetypal PCL-R psychopath goes like:

• (present) "acts impulsively with no consideration of consequences"
• (past) "little guilt or regret over past decisions"
• (future) "dreams of grandeur without realistic future planning"

^^ which is very very distinct from the calculating cold persona you often see in villainess stories.

so we have a nice codependent dynamic. "oopsie homicide" idiot dumbass and her flowery luna lovegood witch gf whose coverup magic happens to need murder as fuel - both totally useless without each other.

This is only based off the very start but the way I want to see this ending is that Rosalia's evil psycho bitch actions catch up to her and everything blow ups in her face so she goes to Meredy for one last time jump but Meredy knowing that they're both screwed over goes for a lovers suicide with Rosalia instead. Completely against Rosalia's will too so Rosalia dies kicking and screaming.

This will probably change depending on how the plot progresses but I can see things ending like that.
