For the standing point of a being that can pass trough dimensions, that may be true...

He's not wrong. In all the Xian xia worlds, the heavens and upper worlds are always flat, and have no universe, just a massive piece of land mass, and a fake sky with a fake sun (because they have no universe). Specifically speaking, those worlds are basically mobius strips, except that theres nothing in the sky or below the earth.

In other words, the xian xia world itself is always mega boring and super tiny compared to an infinite universe or the mortal world.

He ain't talking about the Earth. He's talking about the plane of existence that the Earth (and this universe) resides in, which is why typically spacial rips (like the one that banished MC) are cut vertically and open to a plane directly above or below the current plane.

It's kinda similar to my explanation of sub-dimensions in the book I'm writing. (gimme like 10 years and I'll publish it lol)

The world just saw this dude LIVE on air wiping asses with superheroes for like a couple weeks straight or something, and the moment he acts like a normal person they immediately ask you not to believe your lying eyes in the most braindead possible article.
Damn, this shit is realistic af.
