Trying to reconstruct the logic on this one. Young Miss has been thrown out of the house until she finds the guy she (reasonably) chased off. (Father of the year award, right there) decides he's working in construction based upon the fact he was carrying his stuff in a big sack (is this some Chinese cultural reference I don't know, because I can't even begin to understand why?) and it turns out he IS working in construction. Her underling/follower/friend/relative/maid/whatever somehow ends up outside the right dormitory (is it temporary housing associated with the construction site? I suppose that's possible) where the guy's coworker is having outdoor sex with a monster and paying for it in a place where the monster can be easily overheard, yet despite such stupidity has somehow managed to survive up until this point, which JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE right outside guy's window, where some guys in Western clerical collars suddenly show up to deal with the monster, but can't because EVERYBODY KNOWS Westerners are helpless against the supernatural (that's why the West is completely overrun and destroyed by monsters... wait...)
This thing is tailspinning so fast, I will probably drop it before chapter 10. Amazing.
