I'm sorry, but I think many parts of the translation this time were horrible.

It's already hinted in the manga, but it only gets like, 2 panels instead of the entire chapters it gets in the LNs. The fact they've completely healed the daughter of someone who is Highly influential in the world has stirred a LOT of interest from a certain organization that wants a monopoly on miraculous healing. That's just one of the subplots that barely gets a mention in the manga so far, yet its influence is hinted at throughout several novels...

I don't know if you've read the chapters that are missing from here, or if you've read ahead of this chapter in the manga to see more, but it is touched on, and should be interesting if the manga follows through on it.

tbh, as much as I enjoy this manga, I will freely admit it smacks a little of a cash grab, ironically in same way they used to crap out mediocre anime to cash in on popular manga series. The art is serviceable, but at times you can tell there's a lot of 3D models being traced and the linework is a little looser than the artist's other works. Although overall it doesn't detract from the story, it is noticeable.

This middle schooler looks more mature than even adult. This was not what I had in mind when I was reading the novel haha. I thought the manga would play more in the future burden that this girl would be in but they just brushed it off.

Probably not the first or the last company to do it either. So if a lot of "professionally" translated manga starts reading like shit...

You will be lucky if it reads like shit: the worst scenario is the one where they polish the turd to look like a proper translation, but you have no way of knowing if the conveyed meaning is actually correct...

A house of cards. You can only get people to ignore text that seems out of place in context for so long especially if they try to localize it and shift the meaning even further, and it'll just be more obvious if the "translator" is just churning through pages to get them out as fast as possible. They're bragging about cutting costs by 90%, remember. Plus, since people still have access to the original it's not like people will stop doing scanslation, more so if the official is bad or suspect.

This is why people have to push back against this while "professional" MTL is still in its infancy. Call these assholes out as much as you can, every time you see them.
