It does have an odd atmosphere at the end, feeling like a last chapter. This chapter covers the ending of Volume 2 of the LN, well except for the one part that wasn't included.

Doesn't that world have more than a couple of countries and a few towns? Dude should escape somewhere genuinely far way, not just to the next town in the same two countries where he has been, apparently, living his whole life. Who knows, he might even find magic tools he has never imagine before if he travels far enough. More importantly, the girls finding him would be unlikely, unless they had a magical way of tracking him. In that case, he should get a tool to stop such activity and wear it all the time. Or a spell that's active all the time, like his self-resurrection one. He would have to say good bye to the confectionery girl, but that's a small price to pay, seeing how horrified he is by the girls.
