I don't mind expanding on her magic, but this "fight" is pretty stupid. Neither of them is willing to fight, so they take turns to beg the other to give up. Yet both volunteered, or actually the princess pushed the MC out of the way to enter the match. One in the match, she doesn't want to do anything, though. The beast dude isn't much better.
