That happened already in the background, sometimes the monster they hunt is a little too aggressive, or they can't all get away, and sacrifices are made. You see some of the little ones dying in the first chapter. That's a really cute supporting cast. And one of them is a yandere lol. This is like an ostrich version of the game "Lemmings." I hope we don't see any of the cute loli ostriches become something's lunch.
Oh damn,1991.That's a really cute supporting cast. And one of them is a yandere lol. This is like an ostrich version of the game "Lemmings." I hope we don't see any of the cute loli ostriches become something's lunch.
Every single goddamn time i read this manga, i pray for none of these tiny creatures to not die....seeing them dead just feels so wrong....

'Tis the harsh reality of being the smartest leader in a dog eat dog world, the needs of the many outweigh the few,no matter how heartbreaking it might, and all the worse when you consider that the ones being tossed into the meat grinder hardly know any better.Maybe try not to intimidate them because they may feel the need to lie, people will absolutely spill their guts to you if you're chill
It's true. It was just a few panels, but it did show it. I missed it the first time reading it.That happened already in the background, sometimes the monster they hunt is a little too aggressive, or they can't all get away, and sacrifices are made. It rarely is addressed, especially in-series, how the species and physiology changes should also affect the character(s) mentally. So many monster reincs just have the character act essentially human and eventually humanize their kin. This reminds me of another monster girl series, specifically in the sense that Reisu isn't just a cute girl with feathers for pants, but an actual fearsome monster and a predator with properly monstrous diet, instincts, morals and common sense. And for the sake of her flock's safety she's already contemplating whether to murder the outsiders while they're still harmless.
Mail carrier between towns would be perfect for them. High speed, high stamina and capable of self-defense.Honestly, I can't really see the ostrish beastkin doing well in society. What jobs would they do?
