From what I understand she grew because she had to. The intle overflow wasn’t enough to kill her but she had to grow a bigger brain (and probably a bigger head/body to match) to keep up.
The others don’t need it because small brain = smaller head and smaller body needed.

The method to make more adult-sized specimen is both convoluted and nearly impossible.

You'd have to either teach them at a pace so glacial lifespans are a concern, or use some manner of telepathy to upload an entire high school education into them, brain blasting them consecutively like the MC experienced.

I think they are already adults in that child form, mc evolution is just to make the horde more bigger and that's why in her big horde they see mc as their leader, maybe why there are no other ostriches like mc is because normal hordes only have small group sizes that die easily which doesn't have time for them to evolve like mc

Depending on the type of horse, you're looking at 25-44 mph.
With ostriches, you're looking at 40-45 mph.

It was stated/shown in chapter 1 the MC used to be a teenage japaness male of average intelligence but that was too much for her small Ostrich brain so her body evolved to properly house her soul and it seems only that evolution of Ostrich beastman could house his(her) knowledge so in other words she is not an adult Ostrich beastman per say but and evolution, it's kinda like elves to high elves so I guess she would be a high Ostrich beastman?

Loving the contrast. Cute but murdery, and "cute but sometimes a strong monster kills a bunch of them" from earlier chapters. It's horrifying sometimes, and adorable sometimes, and my brain can't keep up so I'm all in on the adorableness.

From the story itself, what actually happens is not "evolution", at least it's not stated as such. The actual cause of the MCs transformation is a brutal cycle of destruction and regeneration of the body due to the amount of memories that she recovers from his past life, with her brain bursting from the excess information every time, and the body regenerating the brain to accommodate the information, repeating itself for a period of 6 months, which resulted on her body having grown, likely to also accommodate the larger brain (nut sized at the start).

If this is evolution under this world's standards, I fear anyone who undergoes it is going to go through one hellish experience... she was dumb as a brick when it happened, and was barely conscious throughout the whole process, so that's the only saving grace... otherwise... errr...

Looking forward to see what happens next... but based on this world's Ostricheans' (?) environment and how they adapted to it, I fear the lack of natural predators will result in a massive growth of them, since they populate fast to avoid going extinct. This small kingdom is going to face a crisis like never before
