Do you know the word "vengeful spirit"? This is not even 1/100 of it.

Thankfully, the spirits still have a peaceful mind so they didn't avenge the Royal Family yet.
Normally, the spirits will crush the whole Royal Family to dust.

Just thinking, in real life, if your family had "money", a poor person begged your family to give him some "money" to live.
Your ancestor refused him. He went and killed other members of your family to beg/rob for "money"
"Your killed family members" hate that man and tell the descendants to avenge them by not to do any "business" with that man's family anymore. Eternally.

See? Too peaceful for Avengers.

And now what, that criminal's family is planning to kill anyone to beg you for "money" again.
Do you want to forgive them?

If anything, I think that young, innocent and pure prince might be the key to solve this.

I look at it differently than most:

The spirits have a lifespan just like humans. But the lifespan is far longer than any human. They are still holding a lifelong grudge and rightfully so. Also, apparently, the royal family hasn't learned from this and are trying to sneak their way back into the forgiveness instead of making an honest effort even if it takes generations.

I don't see a problem with an eternal curse for the royal bloodline. It's not like it affects their everyday life; it just means the already powerful and bloodthirsty family has less power. The curse does not give them suffering, it just limits them. Rightfully.

Wow this royal family is seriously trash. How have they maintained power when they are this incompetent?

They have been corrupt for generations but are so blatant about it that it's rather laughable. I mean the fat pig didn't even bother to try to win the man she wanted over or even his family or servants. She just blackmailed him and forced him into it with the expectation that brute force would get her what she wanted.

The crown prince is no better and seems to think he can use threats and blackmail to get the spirit power back.

This just proves why the entire family was and still is cursed. It wasn't just the ancient king who was rotten. His entire family and decendants are repeating his sins in their own way. Only the young prince seems decent but even if they gave his spirit power his family would just exploit that mercy. So even he can't be free from the curse unless his family makes ameands or he breaks free of their influence enough that they can't profit from him.

still don't understand why not the spirits, but the humans (even just the nobles) didn't put down that royal family using either coup d'etat or revolution, the only way that I see is because some (unknow?) factor only usable by royal bloodline like some kind of ancient weapon, artifact or else

@Miros it was already mentioned in the last chapter if you were listening enough. She was loved struck by her Brother-in-Law, which is the MC's father. And, during the marriage ceremony of the groom and bride, both must wholeheartedly devote one's heart to each other, especially in front of the witness by the sister of the wife of the MC's mother; which is a goddess of marriage. If so slightly one of them is not 100% devoted and is on love with someone else a curse will be fall upon that unloyal one.

I think the spirits are being ridiculously overthinking. Make it simple seriously.... if that king committed mass murder on the lower spirits, then don't curse him and his descendants, that's just making trouble for yourself in the future, just straight up exterminate that guy.
