Technically speaking, calling her Shop Valley is like calling Toriyama (Author of DBZ) Bird Mountain, its just a translation of the kanji that make up the name as if they were individual words, in the order that they appear.

If a guy named Tanaka appears, i hope that for consistency's sake, its translated as Ricefield Center.

I checked and Misetani Box is Seven Seas’ translation of her name.
