Hard to tell, Q has a really bad case of sameface.

I've just realised a feeing I've had about this manga for a while:

This is bizarro murdergothic Adventure Time.
"I'm a tough tootin' baby that can dance like a man! I can shake-a my fanny I can shake-a my can! I'm a tough tootin' baby that can steal all your bones! steal all your bones! I can steal all your bones! If you try to kill me then I'll kill you at home!"

Actually, straight up thought about this past the joke I made-

We have a tough but naive young blonde person who is unique in this world
His strange magic companion who is connected to him since his youth
Their little robot buddy who lives in their house
The mysterious but cool and kinda teasing older person who seems to have whatever powers they want but no real urgency to solve problems, who feeds off of living things
and a probably immortal who is all about science and has, perhaps, a loose concept of what ethics are.

Also, for their first arc, they fought a magic guy that's way older than he looks and was kinda silly while also being dangerous.

This just makes me wonder...if Dai Dark is like a fucked up Adventure time...

dude.............. thats why this felt oddly familiar

the young wacky main protagonist, his more "mature" partner in crime, a rag tag group of friends, the big bad guys who are as funny as they "evil", and the fact that everything they do is so normal, like yeah today we're gonna kill an entire ship of pirates to feed our monster pet (lets go visit the candy kingdom and start a zombie apocalypse)... this is so algebraic... and now i want some bacon pancakes...

edit: didn't realize someone above me said the same thing, but better than me 🤝
