The dialogue on the first page makes no sense to me, were some tenses mixed up?

I don't think so, although I might have missed something specific to the meaning of Akane's question.
If we assume it's right, then Subaru makes no sense. In both bubbles he (roughly) talks about next and current year being the same. The bigger ones only have an addition of something like "I think I will spend them with Akane?".
This series has a lot of awkward conversations between characters, but this chapter was extra confusing. I even tried using MTL for some clearance to no avail.
If anyone has better idea what's going on here with an explanation as to why they think so, I'll gladly learn from that and fix it.
Soba doesn't have the 'u' in it.
I'll fix it when I get home.

I uploaded new version of first page. If anyone has better idea how to translate it, please write it here or wherever you can catch me.

JP Trascription:
Akane: 今年ももう終わっちゃうけどどんな1年だった?
Subaru: 来年も今年みたいにあかねと一緒に過ごしたいって思う1年だったかな?
Subaru: 来年もきっとそうなるよ!

New version makes a lot more sense now, thanks!

My Japanese isn't great (I'm an editor, not a translator!), but it looks like, to go extremely literal:
A: The year's coming to an end, but what kind of year has it been?
S: I think it's been the kind of year that makes me want to spend next year with you, like this year.
A: Next year will definitely be like that!

To rephrase a bit:
A: So, what kind of year has it been, now that it's coming to an end?
S: Hmm, the kind I'd like to spend another of with you, I guess?
A: I'm sure you will!

And take 3:
A: So, what do you think of this year, now that it's almost over?
S: Hmm, I just want us to spend next year together, too.
A: I'm sure we will!

Now that you suggested it, it seems obvious. Looks like sentence construction in japanese is bigger threat than kanji to me lol
Welp, I guess it's time for another edit
