Please. There's no purpose to holding back the chapter. You just take offense at it because you are just convinced its the case. You also have no actual evidence they completed it all by the time they released the first chapter. As per your own words last chapter, you then would have had an issue that they hold back a release for any reason.

Unless you are deluded enough to think scanlation is instant. That would track with someone like you. And like last chapter, as many pointed out, suck it up. Even if they did it on purpose, you're doing shit all for it. You get three parts over 3 days, what a travesty for your self-defined 'consumer experience'.

My guess? It’s less “soul” and more “ego”. It’s hard to tell what exactly was sealed away, but it left them only able to obey their instincts (I think). The elf behaved like a loving dog (probably because she recognized Alex) and the hero behaved like a stereotypical demon prince.

The final gambit I suspect is ending the taboo.
