This manga has great art. The one problem with this manga is that it is told in such a wacky and absurd way that is it hard to care about the story it tries to tell you. All of the story build up and stakes can be randomly nullified by some absurd joke - nothing is risked and nothing is gained. I guess it is targeted at people who are already familiar with Journey to the West novel, just to enjoy some jokes and reinterpret some moments.
