The author is great at his job. Twisted the knife in my heart like a professional and left me wanting more at the end.

it's a good story, i loved the whole anthology series i read this in (all by the same author). but i just can't seem to immerse myself once cancer or terminal illness is involved. it's just staring you in the face too plainly.

What a day ruiner
Good points of her having a habit of hiding her face, to conceal intent (consequently he's not an omniscient narrator), to then reveal intent, to want the best for the one you love, in sickness and in health
It's painful though, to hurt someone that's cared for by another, not caring for that person as much as you should, and those who do care aren't happy with you, you hurt yourself

Reminds me of Silent Hill 2
