When I was checking raws for that footnote on pg. 13 (for science of course), I noticed there are 2 pages that are missing @G2Lone. There is one missing right after pg. 3 & the other is after pg. 4 since it is a cover spread. Depends on the interpretation. In various stories elves go from purehearted do-gooders, to haughty supremacists, to stoic nature-lovers, to opportunist turncoats. Elves in manga in particular are frequently depicted as frivolous, voluptuous and promiscuous.

NGL, even as a supporter with extended or augmented storage abilities and the ability to clean clothing, equipment, and people would be highly welcomed on most if not all expeditions, adventurer, and caravans.

Nothing worse then suffering thrue weeks worth road dust and monster gore, with little more then the occasional river to wash it off.

Most stories don't put meaningful emphasis on the hardships of the road anyway when convenient basic-level magic exists. Otherwise expeditions would have to be accompanied by a number of helpers handling menial specialized tasks.

But it's all just a made up plot device to elevate their MC. And it's always so damn forced. Not only because the "Elite Group" falls apart soon after ridding themselves of the dead weight, but because it should be plainly obvious that the team manager is literally doing 15 other support jobs in addition to cooking all the meals, buying all the supplies, maintaining all the equipment, and carrying everything for the entire team...

So the fact they can cast cleaning spells and or has a spatial storage is just a couple more absurdities being added to the arm length list of reasons this utterly indispensable person has, yet is still considered useless trash.

It's just plain bullshit from start to finish.
