Since next chapter likely ends the volume, I'm guessing Sakurako sees Yuhi and bails her out of the situation. Yuhi has to open up now that the problem is unavoidable. After all, we still weren't given any more context of back when she rejected Sakurako. And I'm pretty sure Yuhi already realized it was her by the end of volume 1, because of Yuhi's thoughts in the bath and calling her out on keeping secrets of her own.

Yuhi will also need to work up the courage to tell her sister about what happened both in the past and now. Also, since it looked like Yoshino rejected Mashiro in the flashback leaving her heartbroken, I have to wonder if this is Mashiro's revenge against Yoshino. To make her fall in love and confess only to attempt to cheat on her with her own little sister. Though using Yuhi as a replacement even prior to that shows that she was a garbage person from the start.

Considering this major escalation, I'm starting to wonder if Aoi will be reduced to a gag, as payback for getting Yuhi to leave the meeting spot in chapter 1. Aoi is only an opportunist, she isn't invested in Yuhi the way Chiwa or Mashiro were depicted as.

And finally, Chapter 10 Part 1 doesn't have a release date yet, so next chapter might take awhile.

What I'm learning is that in the world of yuri, tutoring is a pathway to relationship trauma.

it's a trope for a reason, but because tutoring is 1:1 usually (or in small groups), it's much more accessible for predators to groom or take advantage of those unassuming/unexperienced/not alert. alternatively, if it's your age-appropriate/schoolmate crush tutoring you, it can also turn into an opportunity. either way, being taken advantaged of is real trauma

I didn't consider that this could be Mashiro's revenge on Yoshino. That's a neat idea, although it would still be taking advantage of Yuhi. I thought from this chapter Mashiro seems to want things she can't have. I doubt it's from Yoshino alone, but her response to the situation is so fucked up it suggests some kind of trauma, which is not an excuse for her being incredibly shitty.
