Not only is the author the same (Sandrovich Yabako), but many Kengan characters appear (even with speaking lines) very, very frequently in basically every chapter, and the fact there are tons of references to Kengan characters in Danberu. It's directly stated in both Kengan Asura and Danberu that even major characters are directly related to each other (Akemi & Shion Souryuin, Karla & Yakusha Kure, Zina & Ivan, etc.) and that they even appear in both of his works (Cosmo's fighting master is the same person as Satomi-sensei's chiropractor, Toshio Izu was a fighter and novelist, Adam Dudley giving the girls a ride to the bodybuilding competition, etc.).
