Why don't we get to see any nipples? Don't fear the nipples!

And even her loli face looks way too oldschool.

I remember downloading and watching the anime and stopped at the first episode.

I guess fighting against the stupid, ugly, Christian nazis is one way to pacify the SJWs that were giving him shit for loli content when the anime aired. As long as he can cram in more gay couples, Muslims, oppressed minorities, and immigrants.

Reading this without having read the previous two series is a fun exercise. America under the yoke of MAGA evangelical fascists. Vampires as modern analogues of the underground railroad. Japan in the middle of a fragile alliance with a vampire princess who seemingly recently lost her empire in a disastrous epic battle. Her evil sister also competing for the Messiah role against their Big Bad "father." Weird ass clowns fighting in ancient ruins. Gender ambiguous werewolf little boys (one of which literally named after a Catcher in the Rye character) trading banned comics. Two old school NYPD cops giving the middle finger to the Christian gestapo...

It's like watching a very earnest, very entertaining B-movie. Kitschy. Fun.

Incidentally, as a completely new reader, the protagonist characters (except the princess) appear to be the most uninteresting among the cast. Yeah, yeah important-looking protagonist werewolf dude and important-looking probably also protagonist Japanese girl, I don't care about you whatsoever just give me more werewolf freedom fighters.

As I am completely wasting my life with Runescape it'll take a little longer to get both chapters translated, I guess by Sunday or before.

Generally speaking, the setting and most of the lore in the Bund series is interesting (for me, at least), but the plot and characters tend to fall flat. The only reason I continue reading this is because of the time I've already invested in the series. To any new readers of this latest addition, I hope that you were super invested in the 'Sannin Werewolf Plotline' because that comes back with a vengeance in this.

Also, very little Akira and Mina for most of this so far (as of Volume 5, Chapter 23) and we're instead treated to the...uh...odd addition of Phoebe...and Phoebe is...definitely a...character. Yup. Very interesting...

You know? The more I write out my thoughts of this series and this particular edition, the less I'm becoming interested in it.

I will admit this has come far from the first premise of the manga, but at some point, I understood that the author just made a "mostly cohesive" storyline just to draw something akin to softcore porn... and I am fine with it.

Don't get me wrong, the storyline is more strong than my simplification makes it seem and I can see the "delicate" subjects that are brought in the story ( which aren't new ) that would scare people from this, but I just have fun with this series.

And two final words............... Cute. Butts.

I agree, the lore of this series is very interesting and the author make a good job to explain that (included some weird flex one, example:
how werewolves adores woman
) but its mostly already covered in the first book. So now we just left with war (vampire war), which I think not the author strong suit.
