Stretch it out to about 40 chapters, make the prince a silent supporting character, add in some drama plots to make them closer, end on the big ball and reveal. Easy big hit for serialization.

Normally I feel like these otome, heroine x villainess oneshots end up feeling super rushed, like they are trying to condense far to much plot and backstory into far to few pages but this one felt pretty well paced, and the main couple get actually get enough time to build some real chemistry! Very nice oneshot!

Yeah. Now that I think of it, i've never seen a villainess with short hair, they always have long hair and only the heroines can have short hair to make them look pure and innocent. This design is actually refreshing to see
