Oh, that will not happen, you know why? Because that site doesn't have the love for the art of translation.I'm 98% sure that the conversation they're having on p.14 is about first-person pronouns. Momo probably uses something like "atashi", while, the Pair of 2+ scans explained that Takakura uses "jibun" for self-reference.
If I'm right, Momo's bewildered that Vamola is taking to self-referring with "jibun" even though she spends more time with her.
Kinta may be trying to get her to say "a-ta-shi", or maybe "wa-ta-shi" step by step, which is rendered here as "I! Me! Moi!".
I get the Mangaplus site format or policy may not allow for a translation notes page, but a margin or gutter note probably would have been best for this utterly Japanese conversation.
Very true, sadly. Notes for language, society, history and culture insights are the best ambassadors for people like us that want to better understand japanese culture through its media. But that's clearly not a concern for this company and most others like it.Oh, that will not happen, you know why? Because that site doesn't have the love for the art of translation.
I won't include the translators themselves in that, because I bet many of them want to be able to put such notes, but... they are hired, they have to obey their employer's rules... as stupid as they are, that is what is necessary.
Wow, intresting deteail, indeed sounds possible with the many pronounce that japanese tend to refer to themselfs with.I'm 98% sure that the conversation they're having on p.14 is about first-person pronouns. I drink to that my friend, cheers.Very true, sadly. Notes for language, society, history and culture insights are the best ambassadors for people like us that want to better understand japanese culture through its media. But that's clearly not a concern for this company and most others like it.
Looks like Rodin's sculpture of the gates of Hell from Dante's Inferno.where’s that fancy looking door from?
Nay, it's the same ball-- he got it back, then lost it, and now they just got it back.HOLD ON! Why are they talking about another "family jewel"? He got two back already... does he have 3 balls?
