He will recover his powers for sure but losing Turbo Granny opens some paths. If the author gets lazy, he will just develop again from some reminiscent power left. If the author goes by the creative way, Okarun could use his training to develop his powers and go far beyond his old self. After all, it's already confirmed that one can aquire powers and technics from different sources, and Okarun also has alien friends to help him with technology.

One thing to note is that everybody else got powers from Okarun's balls, and Vamola's suit runs on something similar
Basically: he's got a power source already, he just needs to learn how to use it (or them in this case )

My exact thoughts. She's a big ol' fat tsundere, and she's part of the family now.
My guess is that in the end she'll agree to posess Okarun the "normal way" and this time lend him her powers on her own will, just like the ballerina with Aira and the evil eye with Jiji. No tricks to bind her, no blackmail. Just her and Okarun having reached a mutual understanding.

Yeah, I think regaining his powers plus getting new/stronger ones sounds like the best way. Maybe the guy who we've seen steal yokai powers will be involved somehow

Don't even try to predict the plot though, part of the reason why I love Dandadan, Okarun might as well find a new power without loosing his jewels.
