This chapter changes scenes so abruptly that I thought the page order was wrong or some pages were missing! I'm not sure if this "fragmented narrative" was intentional, but for me it makes the chapter less enjoyable to read.

On a different note,
Aira, also known as the "attack full power first, reluctantly apologize later" dumbass. I adore her!

Wow... first time in a while Momo has used her suppression skill, I had forgotten she could do that... now I am curious why she doesn't use that more...

From what I understand it only works on people who had their powers granted to them by yo-kais. As for why couldn't she just do this against Evil Eye... shrug.

Something the subreddit noted is that in the Spanish translation, Zuma says that his eyesight "keeps getting worse", as opposed to just turning bad. Adding onto this, someone noted that Momo's been getting smaller and smaller with each chapter.

Geeze, Jiji's possessive overprotectiveness of Momo really gets on my nerves whenever it comes out. I think that's the authors intention but damn it's effective 😒 otherwise super interested to see where this arc is going 👀👀

yeah it’s completely awful and I don’t know what resolution looks like for him. His childhood was completely taken - does his whole life get wiped and he go back to being a kid who is now aged beyond his years? Does he de-age slightly but still have most of his life gone? Will he be stuck as an old man with no family (except maybe a new “found” family as a result of this arc?)

It’s just sad man, sad all the way through.

I was curious about that guy trapped in the game, wasn't sure if we were gonna get a follow up with him or if he was gonna be a tragic victim background character.

One of Dandadan's best qualities is that there are so few characters that get a single appearance. I had forgot entirely about Queen Sensei's introduction years ago, and then she's back!
