I feel that Okarun feels so assertive right now bc after the fight he has realized that Momo without her memories is still Momo, so the same things that flustered her and made her fall for him are still there, so Okarun knowing that she already loves (or loved?) him is making sure of going the extra mile to make her fall for him all over again. So basically he's going the "50 first dates" route as if he were Adam Sandler (just without the recurring memory loss).
