The real problem with this arc is the constant bombardment of D-list goons.
Either they're very lame regardless of what abilities or powers they have, or they have really boring abilities. And regardless of their lack of any interesting or fun qualities they seem to effortlessly beat up our protagonists.
Like you'd think the matchup of "Barber Swordsman" vs "Hair Girl" would be more interesting, but nah. He just wins the fight with little difficulty.
